How to initiate communication

As with all types of communication, we must first define the person for whom the communication is intended. In addition to traditional communication methods (visual, audio, etc.), digital communication also brings a high level of interaction or implementation of activities, and it is therefore even more important for us to define:
  • with what target groups do we plan to communicate the most, and
  • which requirements will be fulfilled in these target groups by means of communication and interaction.

Once we know who we will be communicating with and what their needs are, it is important to clearly define the content and interactive tools we can offer them, as well as the company goals we wish to achieve in the process.

Once we have the answers to these questions, we must realistically assess the resources available in the organisation, or resources that will be needed in order to achieve optimal communication and a high level of user involvement.
The resources (both personal and material), which are used to implement communication, affect the final user experience of the person participating in communication or of the digital services user, and thus, indirectly, also affects the fulfilment of their needs and, in the final step, the achievement of our goals, which were the reason we initiated communication in the first place.
